One day when I was talking to one of my Indian friends Raki who said ” you haven’t uploaded any Pav bread” “why not you do one” . So we were talking about the bread a lot. Finally I thought I will do it when I have time. So this is the recipe and it turned out really well.
Ingredients for the Recipe:
- 300g Bread Flour
- 175ml Milk
- 50g Margarine
- 15g Sugar
- 10g Instant Dry Yeast
- 5g Salt
- Preheat the oven to 180. In a standard mixing bowl add the flour, sugar, yeast and the salt (into a corner). Mix this for 30 seconds then add the margarine and mix for about 2 minutes. Then whilst mixing slowly add the milk, then mix this with a dough hook for 15minutes
- When the dough is mixed and is soft to touch. Place some flour on the bench and place the dough on top and start to knead it until it is no longer sticky. Then cut the dough into 6 equal pieces or as you desire.
- Take each piece and flatten it with your palm, then fold the edges into the middle and then roll it into a ball. Then place the pieces in a well greased or line oven tray, cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm area to double in size.
- Once ready brush the top with some milk, then bake it for 15-20min until golden brown.
