Wash Gotukola under running water several times and strain water.

Cut the washed Gotukola as fine as you can.

Chop some onion and fresh chillies.

In to that add 1/2 cup of very thick coconut milk. To make coocnut milk I use 3 table spoon full coconut milk powder in 1/2 cup of hot water.

Bring to boil and simmer. Add salt.

If you are not a vegetarian add some maldive fish flakes.

Stir well and cook until like only 3 table spoon full liquid in the pot.

Then add the cut gotukola in to the pot.

Cook 2 minutes. The liquid in gotukola will give extra water to cook. Enjoy with plain rice.
