How to cook Beetroot leaves. Select the good fresh leaves and cut the stems. Wash the beet root under running water several times. That cleans the leaves well and also removes chemicals. Cut the leaves finely and add enough salt. Add a 1-2 table spoon oil in to a pot . Add few cloves of crushed garlic. Fry about a minute. After add sliced onions and chillies. Try Adding much more flavour by adding a bit of Maldive fish flakes or you can add dried or fresh shrimp too. If you are a vegetarian omit Maldive fish. Stir fry well. After it will look like this. Add the sliced beetroot leaves to the onions. After Stir well. You will see the water from the leaves comes out. Put the heat on high. Keep on stir frying. This is the out come. take out when its dry. Tastes so nice.
