Milk toffees are an any time snack in Sri Lanka. All you want is a can of condensed milk and a can of sugar. need to keep on stirring until becomes thick. These toffees are really nice with a cup of plain tea. 😀

I used 3 cans here. Open the cans and pour in to a larger pot.
For each can of condensed milk I filled a can of sugar and and mixed with condensed milk. Add about 50g of butter.
Keep on Stirring until it thickens.
Prepare a tray spread some butter on the tray for easy release. and about 250g Cashew nuts. You can do this with out cashew nuts too.
Add the cashew in to the the pot and keep on stirring. Even if you add raw cashew with the heat it will cook eventually.
Crush some cardamon seeds and add that to the mix too.
When it start thickening and coming off the pot take out.
Put in to the tray and press well.
After leave it several minutes to cool down.
Cut the toffees when it is still hot. After I cut that in to two again.
After divide the toffees and leave to cool down. Store in an air tight container.
