This recipe is my mums recipe. She loves to do this all the time when she brings raw bananas. This is the same copycat of her recipe. I cant find the same alukesel here so this is a cooking banana . Its the same.

This recipe will serve four people. 

I am using a cooking banana weighs about 250g. Wash the banana first. Next peel it. Put the knife on the cut and drag down to peel than taking the whole peel out.

When you do that make sure to have a water next to you with turmeric and lime or lemon juice together. Cut the banana in to small cubes. Put them in to the water you prepared. That way it stays white.

Prepare several small onions or half of one large onion, several green chillies, curry leaves and a clove or two garlic. I used 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and a 1/2 tsp curry powder with pepper too.

drain the banana and put about 1/2 cup of water and put it on a stove on medium heat. Meanwhile put all the prepared spices and herbs in to the mortar or a food processor and grind it,

Add about 1/2 cup of coconut in to the mortar or the processor and grind it. When the banana is dry………………

Add the ground Coconut in to it and and mix slowly with out breaking the pieces.

Add lemon juice and serve hot with plain rice.
