Soya meat curry  is one of the favourite curries  of my son. He requested me to cook cook soy meat for lunch. When I cook something he like always cook extras. I cooked 2 packets of regular soy meat.

Its best to use the regular (No flavour) , as we can cook it with the way we like.

I add boiling water with salt  and leave to soak about 10 minutes.

After strain the water and squeeze them well to get the extra water out.

Cut several tomatoes and chillies , and get cinnamon. curry leaves and cinnamon.

Cut one onion finely and several cloves of garlic or 1 tsp crushed garlic.

I used 1 tsp of roasted curry powder, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp raw curry powder with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.

Add the spice powders with salt on to the soy meat. mix well and leave about 10 minutes to absorb the flavours.

After add some oil in to the pan and leave it to be hot.

Fry onion, garlic, cinnamon, rampe and curry leaves.

Fry until the onions are translucent.

Add the tomatoes and stir fry  several minutes.P1110779-1

I cooked the tomatoes until tender.

Later add the marinated  soy meat.

Add about 1 cup of very thick coconut milk. Cook until the gravy is thick.

Serve with plain rice.
