I have updated several ways of coking green beans and this is another way of cooking green beans. No wonder we get bored when we eat the same way again and again. Try different cooking methods every time make the meal appear interesting to you and all others at home.
As I always say you can always adjust the spices to your liking.
I used a teaspoon full, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chilli powder and enough salt to your taste. I am using about 500 g green beans here. This will serve 8-10 people.
Add all the spice powders to the green beans and marinate it, leave it about 1/2 an hour. Meanwhile prepare the ingredients for the stir frying. I used one onion finely sliced, several green chillies , curry leaves, cinnamon, garlic and 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds. Add about a tablespoon full Maldive fish flakes if you are not a vegetarian.
After add oil in to a pan and stir fry the prepared ingredients until it releases the aroma and onions are translucent and add the beans in to pot. Stir fry well.
After add a cup of coconut milk and finish off. Serve hot with rice.
