I love my tea with spices a lot. After knowing the values of all the spices add in to this beautiful chai tea, I stared loving it. So I have one everyday after work. It makes you heal from all the aches and pains and also to get rid of the tiredness too.
Chai tea is mainly consist of several valuble spices. One is ginger. Ginger helps to digest food, pain reduction, reduce inflamation, reduce the level of cholesterol and help with nausia too.
Cinnamon helps to cut down and help with fat level in the body, lowers the blood sugar levels, and help with digestive discomforts.
Cardamons help with depression and also work as a good diuretic. Some use cardamons to freshen their breath .
Black pepper help to derive the most benefit from the food that we eat, the outer layer of the peppercorn stimulates the breakdown of fat cells, aaand also it slims you down while giving you energy to burn.
Cloves most commoly use for teeth and gum problems as well as it helps to get a relieve from digestive tract cancers, and joint inflammation.
So all what we use in this tea has lots of health benifits and when they all get together it becomes the most effective and tasty spiced tea in the world. This recipe may vary from some others but try this one I know that you are going to love it.
This is how I make my own spiced Tea…….
This will serve 6 people………………….
Always the spice can be adjusted the the way you want your tea to be strong. I used few black peppers, several cloves of cardamons , 6 inches cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ginger or 2-3 inches crushed ginger
Put all the spices in to a grinder and crush them or blend them. or make your own and leave them in a jar.
I like to crush the spices to this level.
Add all the crushed spices in to a pot.
Add enough sugar or omit sugar
I added a teaspoon full tea leaves.
Add one cup of water and boil it about 5 minutes on simmering.
After it will look like this. All the flavours release to water and sells beautiful at this point.
Add enough milk . I added 4 cups.
Bring to boil and its ready to serve.
Strain the milk in to a cup
Waffles are good to serve as a dessert or as breakfast. These waffles are so soft in texture too. If you want to serve in the morning make sure to prepare the dough in the evening the day before and bring to the proof. Then punch and leave it in fridge. Make the waffles in the morning.
With out using the waffle maker you can bake them in the oven too.
Always I try to do simple and easy recipes . It saves time and when it is so simple people enjoy better than a complicated cake. This recipe is just mixing everything together. Its less than 10 minutes for preparing.
Adding cinnamon & golden syrup in to this gives a beautiful colour. The aroma is all over when baking. If you don’t like adding cinnamon you c an always add vanilla or any spice to your liking.
Almond add moistness and a rich nutty taste to any cake. You can increase the amount of almond flour up to 150g. But remember you need to take 50g of flour out if you do so. I have already upload how to make self raising flour if you want to do it at home or those who cant find self raising flour in their countries. Click on the name and it will take you there.
• 220g Self raising Flour
• 100g Almond Meal
• 150g Sugar
• Pinch of bicarb
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 3 Eggs
• 1 Cup Natural yoghurt
• 40g Golden Syrup
• 125ml Oil
• Icing sugar for sprinkling on top.
1. Preheat oven to 180C
2. Prepare a tray. (6x4inch)
3. Add oil, yoghurt, Eggs, and golden syrup and mix well.
4. Add all the dry ingredients next and whisk well.
5. Pour in to the tray and bake 30-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
6. Cool on a wire rack.
7. Sprinkle icing sugar on top before serving.
